Preliminary checklist of the genus Taraxacum (Asteraceae) in North-West European Russia, with five species new for Russia (Taraxacum Notulae Rossiae Boreali Europeae I)

According to currently available data, 159 species of genus Taraxacum F. H. Wigg. were reported for North-West Russia (i. e. within the city Saint-Petersburg, Leningrad Region, Pskov and Novgorod Region), but among them specimens only 126 identified with reliability. Five are in this article as new Russia, a whole: T. acervatulum Rail., hepaticum macranthoides G. E. Haglund, sertatum Kirschner, Øllg. et Štěpánek, subxanthostigma M. P. Christ. ex All belong section Taraxacum. Newly recorded illustrated list their herbarium is provided. A brief summary taraxacological studies undertaken earlier presented well.
